Remote Federal Contracts Manager

Manage federal contract negotiation and administration for a defense technology and IT services company. Support government customers across compliance, audits, proposals, and subcontracting.

Descriere

  • Support the negotiation, review, and execution of federal contracts, RFPs, RFQs, NDAs, teaming agreements, task orders, modifications, and subcontracts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Government Contracting Officers and external organizations.
  • Use independent judgment to plan activities and resolve complex contract issues.
  • Partner with program management, finance, legal, business development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation teams.
  • Negotiate and administer contracts for Intelligence Community customers.
  • Assess contracts for modifications or extensions and verify compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Track contract hours and funding budgets in Unanet.
  • Draft subcontracts, teaming agreements, and vendor purchase order agreements.
  • Coordinate and support contract audits, reviews, and compliance assessments.
  • Track industry developments, regulatory updates, and federal contracting best practices.
  • Provide federal contract administration expertise and analyze bids and proposals.
  • Support new business pursuits and proposal submissions.
  • Confirm final contract documents capture negotiated agreements and maintain communications for timely execution.

Cerințe

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least six years of federal contract management experience; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Experience with multiple contract types, including Firm Fixed Price, Fixed Price Incentive Fee, Cost Plus Fixed Price, and Time and Materials.
  • Professional experience using Unanet is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal contracting regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific rules.
  • Experience supporting federal agencies such as the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, or other government organizations.
  • Proven ability to lead contract negotiations involving pricing, terms and conditions, and subcontractor agreements.
  • Experience managing Prime-to-Federal Government, Prime-to-Subcontractor, and Subcontractor-to-Prime relationships.
  • Strong understanding of fixed-price, cost-reimbursement, time-and-materials, and IDIQ contracts.
  • Strong organizational skills for maintaining complete and accurate contract files.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Demonstrated analytical, negotiation, and contracting expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing NSA contracts is a plus.
