Remote Bookkeeper in North Macedonia

Remote bookkeeper responsible for financial records, reconciliations, invoicing, payments, and routine reporting. The role supports day-to-day finance operations for international client businesses.

Descriere

  • Keep financial records complete, accurate, and current
  • Enter and classify daily financial transactions
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Prepare and handle invoices, bills, and payment transactions
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
  • Track unpaid invoices and follow up on overdue payments as needed
  • Organize and maintain financial records and supporting documentation
  • Help complete month-end and year-end bookkeeping activities
  • Produce basic financial reports, summaries, and cash flow updates
  • Investigate discrepancies and correct bookkeeping problems
  • Assist with expense monitoring and reimbursement administration
  • Coordinate with management, accountants, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Protect confidential financial information during all bookkeeping activities

Cerințe

  • Professional experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a comparable finance position
  • Solid knowledge of bookkeeping methods and financial record management
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or comparable accounting platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Practical experience with reconciliations, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • High numerical accuracy with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management
  • Ability to handle recurring finance tasks independently while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate with colleagues across international teams
  • Sound judgment and discretion when managing confidential financial data
  • A qualification in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping is advantageous
  • Experience supporting a business based in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, or Europe is advantageous
  • Background with startups, SMEs, agencies, or rapidly growing companies is advantageous
  • Knowledge of payroll, VAT or sales tax, expense systems, or month-end reporting is advantageous
