React Native Mobile Engineer

Build Alma’s React Native payment and consumer finance app, delivering secure payment features and customer experiences with TypeScript, Expo and modern mobile tools.

Descriere

  • Build and ship Alma app features from initial design through production with Product, Design and backend colleagues.
  • Connect payment SDKs and native mobile features, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, card controls, biometrics and secure storage.
  • Maintain app speed, reliability and code quality through automated tests, monitoring, reviews and ongoing performance work.
  • Help shape technical decisions and strengthen the team’s architecture, tooling and release workflows.
  • Partner day to day with the Engineering Manager, Product Manager, Designer and backend engineers.

Cerințe

  • At least three years developing mobile apps with React Native and TypeScript.
  • Experience publishing apps to both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
  • A strong grasp of the React Native ecosystem, including Expo, navigation, state management and data retrieval.
  • Experience with testing, code review, monitoring and mobile performance.
  • Fluent English and confidence working in an international, cross-functional team.
  • Preferred: experience with payments, fintech or other applications with demanding security needs.
  • Preferred: experience contributing to a consumer app used at scale.
  • Preferred: willingness to challenge product or backend implementation choices.
  • Preferred: web development experience alongside mobile development.
