Descriere

  • Modernize and document Python 2.x and 3.x integration scripts.

  • Make scripts self-contained without external libraries so they can support a modern HMI that clearly presents input parameters and improves usability.
  • Perform functional testing to identify regressions after changes.
  • Write Git README files explaining how to use each script.
  • Work with a simulation team in Thales’s Land and Air Systems business, focused on command-and-control systems for air operations and air-defense radar systems.
  • Work initially at the Massy site, followed by the Vélizy-Villacoublay site.

Cerințe

  • Pursuing a master’s-level engineering degree, equivalent to a five-year university qualification, in computer science or software engineering.
  • Seeking a six-month internship.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming.
  • Able to write and execute test specifications.
  • Knowledge of configuration management and the V-model development lifecycle.
  • Curious, self-motivated, and rigorous.
  • Because the role may involve access to information classified as a national defense secret, the successful candidate must complete a security clearance process.

Beneficii

  • Internships are covered by an internship agreement and include compensation based on the intern’s level of study.
  • Strong emphasis on employee well-being and work-life balance.
  • Inclusive and supportive working environment.
  • Established commitment to social and environmental responsibility, including Thales Solidarity and the CAC 40 ESG index.
