Mid-Senior Contract Specialist - United States Remote

Mid-senior Contract Specialist responsible for the full contract lifecycle at DISCO, an AI-powered legal technology company. The role covers drafting, negotiation, compliance oversight, risk mitigation, and issue resolution across customer and partner agreements.

Descriere

  • Oversee contracts from drafting and negotiation through execution and compliance review
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate agreements with customers, suppliers, and business partners
  • Align contract language with organizational objectives while maintaining clarity and completeness
  • Monitor adherence to contractual obligations and relevant laws and regulations
  • Assess contractual risks and create appropriate mitigation plans
  • Work with legal, finance, procurement, and operations teams to support execution and compliance
  • Advise stakeholders on contract questions and related issues
  • Keep the contract management database complete, accurate, and well organized
  • Coordinate renewals, amendments, and contract terminations on schedule
  • Measure contract performance and report on compliance and effectiveness
  • Investigate and resolve disputes or contract performance concerns

Cerințe

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in contract management or a comparable position
  • Law degree from a recognized Indian university or an equivalent qualification
  • Strong knowledge of software and technology contracting, including customer contract negotiations
  • Detailed understanding of contract law and applicable regulations
  • Strong analytical judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with contract management platforms such as Ironclad or Salesforce, plus Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated negotiation ability and capacity to manage multiple contracts concurrently
  • At least 3 years of commercial and privacy contracting experience under UK, European, US, and APAC laws at a recognized law firm or technology company
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
  • DISCO does not currently sponsor visas, including H-1B, TN, or EAD, and does not accept visa transfers
