Lead Software Engineer – Azure, TypeScript & Python (Belfast Hybrid)

Descriere

  • Direct technical delivery across work ranging from rapid prototypes to production-ready platforms
  • Develop complete software solutions with TypeScript, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code on Azure
  • Define engineering expectations for architecture, code quality, security, and testing
  • Support and mentor engineers while helping grow the Belfast engineering team
  • Partner with product, design, research, and client stakeholders to translate requirements into working software
  • Take ownership of platform operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance

Cerințe

  • Demonstrated technical leadership across complex software projects involving multiple languages
  • Strong backend development experience with TypeScript or JavaScript and at least one additional language, such as Python or Rust
  • Practical frontend experience using a modern framework such as React
  • Experience with CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud-based deployment
  • Hands-on familiarity with GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Obtain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance before employment begins
  • Effective collaboration with engineers, designers, researchers, and non-technical stakeholders
  • Interest in generative AI tools and emerging technologies, including digital twins
