Descriere

  • Own infrastructure operations as the senior technical lead for FactSet’s Virginia data center
  • Improve infrastructure software and hardware tooling to support deployment, connectivity, and user experience
  • Direct project management and technical oversight for major technology rollouts and facility buildouts
  • Advance infrastructure design through continuous improvements focused on autonomy and scalability
  • Monitor, diagnose, and resolve complex production incidents
  • Serve as the escalation point for infrastructure support issues
  • Coordinate with director-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align priorities and integrate tools, systems, and projects
  • Oversee contractor and vendor relationships supporting regional services and cost-conscious contracts
  • Promote operational best practices, mentor engineers, and support technical excellence
  • Track infrastructure capacity across the data center

Cerințe

  • Substantial experience in data center or enterprise infrastructure operations, covering hardware, networking, and systems support, with progressively greater responsibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
  • Proven ability to lead technical projects and rollouts from initial planning through delivery
  • Experience with production alerting, monitoring, and incident management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for director-level and cross-functional audiences
  • Background in coaching and mentoring engineers
  • Experience negotiating with and managing vendors and contractors, especially telecommunications providers
  • Experience operating across hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure
  • Scripting or automation experience applied to operational tooling and deployment improvements
  • Experience with facility buildouts, colocation, or regional service and contract management
  • Experience managing assets with ITSM and DCIM tools
