Descriere

  • Build and operate cloud platforms for active projects
  • Use automation and Infrastructure as Code to create dependable systems and services
  • Work with development teams to strengthen workflows through disciplined testing and release practices
  • Advise on networking, security, and database environments
  • Analyse operating-system and application metrics to tune performance and diagnose faults
  • Automate, deploy, and enhance complex systems across software, infrastructure, and integration layers
  • Deliver secure, reliable information systems and machine-learning services for Defence, Security, and Emergency sectors

Cerințe

  • At least three years of experience building or operating systems on cloud, virtualised, or on-premises infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Experience with configuration-management and automation tools such as Ansible
  • Ability to build and deploy versioned containers to a container-orchestration service
  • Coding or scripting experience with practical proficiency in Python, Go, JavaScript, or Bash
  • Understanding of secure system design and frameworks such as the NCSC Cloud Security Principles or an equivalent standard
  • Ability to apply engineering judgement to improve reliability, security, and maintainability
  • Eligible for SC clearance
  • Practical knowledge of compute, networking, storage, or identity management is desirable
  • Experience managing multi-account or multi-tenant environments is desirable
  • Experience deploying and configuring observability tools and platforms is desirable
  • Familiarity with GitOps practices is desirable
  • Experience configuring and operating Linux systems is desirable
