Descriere

  • Calculate, classify, record, and verify routine financial data to maintain complete transaction records
  • Balance general and subsidiary ledgers
  • Organize invoices, checks, and supporting transaction documents
  • Verify and record incoming and outgoing funds
  • Post account totals to ledgers, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Prepare vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and related records
  • Create reports on receipts, expenditures, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other business activities
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts against supporting registers
  • Retrieve information from the general ledger
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Apply codes to data entered into financial processing systems
  • Answer account, procedure, and service questions from employees, vendors, clients, and customers

Cerințe

  • Accredited high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • No prior experience is required; relevant experience may range from zero to four years in addition to the education requirement
  • Perform basic financial data calculations, classification, recording, and verification
  • Balance ledgers and reconcile accounts and bank statements
  • Compile, organize, verify, and post business transaction data
  • Prepare and review invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records
  • Code data for entry into financial processing systems in accordance with company procedures
  • Hold a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative, or be willing to obtain one if required for business travel or access to federal property
