- Provide financial leadership, direction, and analysis to the functional management team
- Serve on the function’s strategic leadership team
- Manage functional metrics and cost controls while partnering with finance leadership to achieve business goals and create shareholder value
- Assess business needs and implement process and organizational improvements
- Plan department objectives and support their execution
- Contribute to annual budget preparation
- Review monthly spending and help ensure budget targets are achieved
- Evaluate monthly performance metrics against established goals
- Lead financial planning for the function and provide recommendations
