Finance and Business Operations Manager

Oversee Mythical’s financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow while managing business operations for Mythical 24/7. Lead FAST platform partnerships and reporting across revenue, viewership, and availability.

Descriere

  • Coordinate with external accounting and finance partners as an internal liaison
  • Support monthly close by reviewing statements and resolving coding, accrual, and outstanding-item questions
  • Review monthly financial reports, flag material variances, and identify needed follow-up
  • Maintain and update the company-wide cash flow forecast
  • Contribute to annual budgets and periodic forecasts
  • Improve financial processes, reporting tools, and cross-functional workflows
  • Manage Mythical 24/7 FAST platform partnerships and commercial discussions
  • Consolidate FAST partner reporting on revenue, viewership, and platform availability
  • Evaluate platform opportunities against leadership priorities
  • Manage the programmatic advertising sales partner and identify monetization opportunities
  • Work with Brand Partnerships on branded campaigns, sponsorship packages, and sales pitches
  • Apply performance insights and programming recommendations to FAST business planning
  • Coordinate work across Production & Post, Programming, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and other teams
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports from designated affiliates or investments
  • Identify reporting gaps and performance issues, escalating them to leadership
  • Support financial analysis and reporting for Mythical’s wider investment and partnership portfolio
  • Report to the President

Cerințe

  • Bring 3–5+ years of relevant experience in finance operations, accounting coordination, financial reporting, FAST, or partner management
  • Demonstrate strong financial and analytical skills, including reviewing financial statements, building or maintaining financial models, and working with budgets and forecasts
  • Have advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial and operational data
  • Bring strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage recurring monthly and quarterly workflows across multiple stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with internal teams and external partners
  • Independently drive follow-up, identify unresolved issues, and see open items through to completion
  • Work from Mythical’s Burbank office under the company’s hybrid schedule
