Descriere
- Support cost-allocation plans, indirect-cost rates, and the narratives that explain them
- Determine which costs are direct, allocated, or unallowable within the agency’s funding structure
- Assess the agency’s chart of accounts and allocation bases against the established plan
- Prepare or revise a central-service or indirect-cost plan that the finance office can substantiate
- Determine which records an auditor or cognizant agency would expect to review
- Contribute approved methodologies and past-performance content to proposals when authorized to name them
- Document the circulars, federal guidance, or local policies used without creating unsupported rates
Cerințe
- Experience developing or revising a cost-allocation plan or indirect-cost rate for a government or public-sector agency
- Ability to explain the allocation base and identify the departments or funds included
- At least one cost-allocation plan or rate proposal that you can discuss by agency, year, and personal role
- Ability to interpret a chart of accounts and fund structure
- Willingness to work as a 1099 project-based consultant with occasional client travel
- Experience supporting a negotiated indirect-cost rate agreement is preferred
- Experience with 2 CFR Part 200 or a state cognizant-agency review is preferred
