Descriere

  • Audit and review regulated parties under NZTA’s regulatory and risk frameworks.
  • Monitor commercial transport operators to reduce risk and support compliance.
  • Gather, analyse and evaluate information from multiple sources.
  • Meet with transport operators to collect information.
  • Analyse data and write reports to inform decisions.
  • Prepare clear assessments, findings and recommendations.
  • Escalate complex, sensitive or high-risk matters to the Senior Compliance Officer.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with legislative, privacy and information management requirements.
  • Travel regularly to engage with operators across the regions.

Cerințe

  • Experience conducting audits and reviews with a risk-based approach to assess compliance and identify improvements.
  • Ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies and regulatory requirements consistently and practically.
  • Strong risk assessment skills, including identifying compliance issues and recommending appropriate action.
  • Experience gathering, analysing and documenting information for audits, reviews and investigations.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical, documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to adapt your approach to suit different situations and achieve effective outcomes.
  • Knowledge of Te Ao Māori, or willingness to develop understanding and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori.
  • Knowledge of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) in the public sector, or willingness to develop that understanding.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Full driver licence with no driving convictions.
  • Legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
