Descriere

  • Work with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineers to clarify user needs, workflows, goals, and technical constraints.
  • Research users and workflows, then test application usability.
  • Create user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, flow diagrams, interactive prototypes, and polished interface designs.
  • Lead and contribute to rapid prototyping sessions.
  • Turn approved designs into responsive, production-ready interfaces.
  • Build and maintain the company-wide design system, including reusable components, interaction patterns, design tokens, and accessibility guidance.
  • Work with software engineers to preserve design intent and ensure feasible, maintainable implementations.
  • Review existing applications and recommend improvements to usability, accessibility, and product quality.
  • Ensure interfaces meet corporate brand, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
  • Contribute to front-end architecture, coding standards, peer reviews, quality assurance, and ongoing improvement.
  • Set and track experience measures, including task completion, adoption, and user satisfaction.
  • Take part in Agile planning, refinement, design reviews, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
  • Keep up with UX/UI research, front-end technologies, design tools, and emerging AI-enabled interaction patterns.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least five years of experience in UI/UX design, UX engineering, front-end engineering, or a similar hybrid role.
  • Portfolio showcasing user-centered and interaction design, prototyping, design systems, and implemented digital products.
  • Proficiency with Figma, Axure RP, Marvel, and Balsamiq.
  • Strong command of HTML5, CSS3 or SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, responsive design, and component-based application development.
  • Experience with React or a comparable front-end framework.
  • Experience building or contributing to reusable design systems and component libraries.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility principles.
  • Experience in Agile software delivery and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently across fast-moving, enterprise-scale projects.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to complete pre-employment screening, including drug testing, reference verification, and a background check.
  • Willingness to work from the Chicago or New York office.
  • Preferred: experience with enterprise software, workflow applications, dashboards, or data-intensive products.
  • Preferred: experience with Storybook, design tokens, Git, GitHub, CI/CD, and cloud-based application delivery.
  • Preferred: experience with data visualization, conversational interfaces, AI-powered workflows, WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, AI-assisted design and development tools, rapid prototyping sessions, or regulated industries.
