Technical Support Engineer

Provide engineering support for Motion customer projects through design, analysis, troubleshooting, and commissioning. The role uses CAD, engineering calculations, and project reporting to develop components and systems.

Apraksts

  • Carry out basic engineering calculations, investigations, and assigned tasks.
  • Work with colleagues to follow up on defined problems and provide engineering support.
  • Prepare reports, graphs, planning layouts, and summaries that communicate project progress and results.
  • Design, develop, analyze, and troubleshoot systems, and provide technical guidance and training.
  • Recommend and design components and systems to meet customer requirements for size, layout, and performance.
  • Use CAD, 2D and 3D drawings, schematics, general arrangement and production layouts, load calculations, stress analysis, and fabrication drawings to define problems and complete engineering projects.
  • Ensure processes and environmental conditions meet regulatory requirements and organizational safety standards.
  • Complete other assigned duties.

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Zero to two years of related experience.
  • Proficiency with CAD software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage projects in a fast-paced setting.
  • Mechanical aptitude and math skills.
  • Ability to develop ideas and design solutions for internal and external customer needs.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
  • Willingness to travel if needed.
  • May need specific safety training to work in hazardous or extreme conditions.
  • Ability to work at customer sites to collect data or commission new systems.
