Apraksts

  • Carry out requirements engineering processes.
  • Advise peers across the requirements engineering team and other groups on technical matters.
  • Keep requirements engineering and project teams informed about work progress.
  • Gather technical input from colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Derive requirements from regulations and customer specifications.
  • Gather requirements from engineering users, product validation labs, and manufacturing teams.
  • Clarify requirements so they provide designers and verifiers with the detail they need.
  • Check other engineers’ requirements for compliance with applicable standards.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned.
  • Work with colleagues toward shared objectives.
  • Communicate clearly with varied audiences.
  • Use problem-solving methods to identify causes, assess options, and put solutions into practice.
  • Protect confidentiality and act with honesty and integrity.
  • Follow company policies, safety regulations, and workplace safety requirements.

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree in systems, electrical, computer, or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Five years of technical experience in systems or software development, or two years focused primarily on requirements management.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical specifications, data sheets, and schematics.
  • Scripting experience is helpful.
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Jama, Polarion, Capterra, or Visure is helpful.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps is helpful.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering principles, including full lifecycle engineering and INCOSE guidelines, is helpful.
  • Experience in embedded software development, including testing, architecture, C, or other coding, is helpful.
  • Experience in electrical hardware development, including microprocessors and power management, is helpful.
  • Experience with digital communication buses such as CAN, LIN, ARINC 429, Ethernet, or RS-485 is helpful.
  • Experience with ASPICE, DO-178C, or DO-254 standards is helpful.
  • Experience with functional safety development aligned with ISO 26262 objectives is helpful.
  • Experience with cybersecurity development aligned with ISO 21434 objectives is helpful.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; work authorization is verified through E-Verify.
