Senior Java Developer, FIDC Custody Platform
Maintain and modernize Evertec’s FIDC custody platform, building features, optimizing databases, and supporting critical financial systems.

- Build and improve features for Evertec’s FIDC Custody platform.
- Maintain and support the application through corrective fixes and ongoing enhancements.
- Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and other database components.
- Assess requirements and recommend technical solutions.
- Investigate production incidents and resolve issues, including performance problems.
- Promote code quality with sound practices, reviews, and testing.
- Work with Product, QA, and other technical teams.
- Help shape architecture, integrations, and platform modernization.
- Work within a squad delivering features, bug fixes, performance improvements, and support for a legacy system.
Prasības
- At least five years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java 8 and enterprise web applications.
- Advanced Microsoft SQL Server knowledge, including queries, stored procedures, and query optimization.
- Experience with Apache Tomcat and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of Git and source control.
- Experience supporting systems, resolving incidents, and handling production support.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methods.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or a related field.
- Analytical, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate or JPA, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, PostgreSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Swagger/OpenAPI, CI/CD, observability, monitoring, Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and AI tools for software development.
- Preferred: experience with FIDC products or operations; knowledge of assignment, acquisition, settlement, repurchase, delinquency, collections, and receivables management; financial services experience; work with mission-critical financial systems, legacy platforms, or high-volume transactions; database performance analysis and optimization; and involvement in technology modernization or architecture evolution.
