Senior Infrastructure Engineer, ETL Administrator (Dallas, TX, Onsite)

Senior infrastructure engineer responsible for administering Informatica ETL platforms in PNC’s banking technology organization. The role covers Linux infrastructure, security, troubleshooting, upgrades, and disaster recovery across multiple environments.

Apraksts

  • Deploy and configure Informatica components across multiple environments
  • Collaborate with MIS project teams to clarify requirements and align implementations with Enterprise Architecture and ETL standards
  • Deliver platform support, troubleshoot issues, resolve incidents, and participate in on-call coverage
  • Maintain infrastructure and complete system upgrades and patching
  • Set up LDAP authentication and security controls for users, groups, roles, and file systems
  • Assist development teams working both onshore and offshore
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve technical issues
  • Lead incident root-cause analysis and coordinate resolution across server, network, database, and security teams
  • Create and maintain platform documentation
  • Apply and uphold information security policies
  • Diagnose ETL job performance issues on Linux
  • Help meet disaster recovery RTO and RPO targets
  • Provide platform engineering guidance and oversee team execution
  • Design, develop, and maintain technology solutions for complex initiatives
  • Use engineering standards, best practices, and technically sound resolutions
  • Improve solution quality while ensuring deliverables are secure, scalable, and dependable
  • Engage with customers and incorporate their needs into development work

Prasības

  • At least five years of Informatica Data Management Cloud administration experience is preferred
  • At least five years of Informatica PowerCenter experience is preferred
  • At least three years of Informatica PowerExchange experience is preferred
  • At least five years of Red Hat Linux experience is preferred
  • Experience with Informatica PowerCenter operating system profiles, High Availability/Grid, and varied source and target types
  • Experience automating Informatica workflows with pmrep, pmcmd, infacmd, and the IDMC API
  • Experience administering NAS (Network Attached Storage)
  • Experience using ServiceNow
  • Experience with enterprise schedulers such as CA7
  • Experience with uDeploy, Artifactory, and automated deployment practices
  • Experience with Informatica Test Data Management
  • Experience with Informatica Data Processor Transformation
  • Experience with Network Data Mover (NDM) or Connect:Direct (C:D)
  • Knowledge of Linux administration and platform engineering
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, cloud computing, virtualization, and performance tuning
  • Strong troubleshooting and systems administration capabilities
  • A university or college degree and at least five years of relevant industry experience are typically required
  • Equivalent education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered instead of a degree
  • Ability to work in an office-based environment is required
  • PNC does not sponsor employment visas or participate in STEM OPT
  • No certifications or licenses are required
