  • Lead YouGov Sport Australia’s consumer research team.
  • Grow and retain the YouGov Sport Consumer Research business while overseeing its delivery.
  • Manage relationships with major Australian sports organisations and leagues.
  • Oversee the research team’s daily operations.
  • Design research strategies using a range of methodologies.
  • Deliver projects accurately, on time, within budget and to client requirements.
  • Plan projects, manage budgets, assign responsibilities and coordinate delivery.
  • Guide researchers while contributing directly to the team’s work.
  • Mentor researchers and oversee their performance and career development.
  • Analyse findings using segmentation, max-diff and multivariate regression.
  • Present research findings and their implications in reports and presentations.
  • Build client relationships, understand their needs, recommend research approaches and identify growth opportunities.
  • Improve data quality with internal stakeholders, including through responsible AI use.
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, project budgets, timelines and new-business presentations.
  • Keep expertise current in sports research methods and requirements.
  • Grow YouGov Sport’s presence across APAC.
  • Develop sports data and research tools and improve processes.
  • Support marketing and PR to raise YouGov Sport’s profile in Australia and APAC.

Prasības

  • At least 10 years’ experience conducting custom primary market research projects.
  • Sports experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with proprietary tools and data.
  • Expertise across a broad range of research methods and client sectors.
  • Substantial quantitative research experience; qualitative experience is an advantage.
  • Experience managing people.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Extensive, proven experience growing client accounts and winning new business.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with Q Software.
  • An innovative approach and demonstrated use of AI at work.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Strong professional communication skills.
