Remote Credit Control Specialist — South Africa
Manage overdue invoices and account reconciliations for a UK employer, working remotely from South Africa during UK business hours.
Apraksts
- Follow up overdue invoices by email and phone with a professional, firm approach.
- Set payment plans and record each commitment to pay.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve issues with sales and finance teams.
- Refresh the ageing report each week and highlight high-risk accounts.
- Apply incoming payments accurately in the accounting system.
- Manage overdue collections to support the client’s cash flow.
Prasības
- Bring credit control or collections experience, with examples of reducing overdue balances.
- Be familiar with Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Communicate confidently and courteously by phone and email.
- Have a reliable laptop, stable fibre internet, and a quiet workspace.
- Be available from 09:00 to 17:00 UK time (11:00 to 19:00 SAST).
- Experience with UK VAT and payment terms is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Dext or GoCardless is an advantage.
- Have experience preparing ageing reports in Excel; this is an advantage.
