Apraksts

  • Build and manage a controlled, virtualized sandbox for technology evaluation
  • Create and execute repeatable assessments of operational feasibility, cybersecurity risk, and architectural fit
  • Set decision gates for moving technologies from sandbox to pilot, enterprise adoption, or discontinuation
  • Deploy candidate applications and technical capabilities
  • Connect applications through APIs
  • Test applications with realistic synthetic or sanitized data
  • Record technical evaluation results and supporting evidence
  • Set selection criteria and success metrics in collaboration with the Analytics Engineer and Enterprise Architect
  • Lead technical onboarding and the transition of successful programs into sustained enterprise environments
  • Assist with transferring technologies to the Chief Information Office when appropriate
  • Establish security and access models for testing environments
  • Prepare technical evaluation reports and findings for decision-making products
  • Provide direct support to the Army Materiel Command Chief Technology Officer in an enterprise-wide digital modernization effort

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software or computer engineering, information technology, systems engineering, or a closely related technical field
  • At least five years of hands-on experience deploying, integrating, and operating software and cloud environments
  • Practical expertise in several of the following: Azure, AWS, GCP, containers, CI/CD, DevSecOps tools, API integration, infrastructure as code, and identity and access management
  • Ability to perform rigorous technical evaluations and judge cybersecurity risk and architectural fit
  • Experience designing and managing controlled test environments that securely handle synthetic or sanitized data
  • Strong technical communication skills, including the ability to write evaluation reports for technical and senior leadership audiences
  • Comfort working through ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities in a direct-support position
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to obtain or retain an active Secret clearance or a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance
  • Previous Department of War or Army enterprise experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with AMC, the Organic Industrial Base, and supply chain logistics is preferred
  • Experience onboarding capabilities into an authorized production enterprise, including RMF/ATO experience, is preferred
  • Familiarity with Army Vantage, Palantir Foundry, Databricks, or Snowflake is preferred
  • Relevant cloud or security credentials, such as AWS or Azure Solutions Architect, Security+, or CISSP, are preferred
  • A master’s degree in a related technical discipline is preferred
