Junior Customs Entry Writer

Process U.S. customs entries for BorderBuddy’s remote brokerage operation. Review compliance documents and coordinate shipment clearance with clients, carriers, brokers, and government agencies.

Apraksts

  • Submit customs entries accurately and on schedule
  • Check documents for completeness and compliance with U.S. Customs regulations
  • Coordinate with clients, carriers, and brokers to resolve issues and keep shipments moving through clearance
  • Keep records current in internal systems and client databases
  • Recommend process improvements to handle workloads efficiently
  • Support administration and other operational tasks as needed
  • Prepare and file documents for Partner Government Agencies, including the FDA, to support regulatory compliance and timely clearance
  • Work in a 24/7/365 operation and take additional hours or overtime as needed

Prasības

  • Preferably bring at least two years of experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or e-commerce operations
  • Know U.S. Customs procedures and entry types, including Section 321, informal, and formal entries
  • Work with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Communicate effectively in writing and conversation
  • Prioritize competing deadlines while working remotely
  • Use brokerage or logistics platforms and Excel or Google Sheets comfortably
  • Be proficient in English
  • Spanish knowledge is an asset
  • Solve problems effectively and perform well under pressure
  • Bring strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Stay organized, flexible, and reliable
  • Use computers and software proficiently
  • Be detail-focused, resourceful, and keen to learn
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Reside and work within the United States
