Freelance Packaging Designer, AI-Assisted Concepts

Create AI-assisted label and packaging concepts for Talking Rain beverage brands, from rapid mockups to concept boards. Prepare work for client review and handoff to the internal design team or agency for production.

Apraksts

  • Create initial packaging and label concepts from approved project briefs.
  • Join scheduled ideation sessions with designated Talking Rain stakeholders when useful.
  • Use AI image and design tools to develop mockups, label variations, flavor extensions, and limited-edition concepts.
  • Revise concepts based on consolidated client feedback within agreed timelines.
  • Prepare concept boards and rough mockups for handoff to the internal design team or agency for final production art.
  • Advise on shelf impact, CPG category trends, and consumer-facing packaging communication.
  • Provide additional services only with mutual written agreement.
  • Recommend schedules and workflows for mutually agreed milestones.
  • Invoice under agreed payment terms and cover ordinary business expenses unless reimbursement is approved in writing.

Prasības

  • Bring at least five years of experience in CPG packaging design, brand design, or packaging innovation.
  • Beverage industry experience is a strong advantage.
  • Have advanced, hands-on experience with AI creative tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT/DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, or similar tools.
  • Be skilled with traditional design software, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Provide a portfolio featuring CPG packaging and AI-assisted concept development.
  • Be comfortable working quickly and live with senior executives.
  • Be able to take direction and generate options on the spot.
  • Operate an established freelance, consulting, or design business that offers services to the market.
  • Maintain applicable business registrations.
  • Use your own equipment and properly licensed software.
  • Be available for mutually scheduled working sessions, including occasional evening or weekend sessions when both parties agree.

  • Three weeks of vacation per calendar year.
  • FMLA-qualifying Rain Makers receive six weeks of paid parental leave.

  • Regional Sales Managers and Sales Directors may use the Motus vehicle reimbursement program.
  • Full benefits package eligibility applies to regular positions averaging 30 or more hours per week.
