Backend-Leaning Full-Stack Engineer, Payments
Build backend-focused billing, usage tracking, and payment systems for ElevenLabs’ AI voice, creative, and agent platforms.
Apraksts
- Develop usage tracking that measures requests accurately while keeping latency low.
- Lead migrations of enterprise pricing and usage processing, including stream-processing services for usage events.
- Improve customer upgrades and payments, including support for multiple entities and new payment providers.
- Partner with Finance and Tax on compliance, audits, and reporting.
- Enable pricing and growth experiments with Growth and product teams.
- Investigate complex customer billing cases using customer feedback, logs, and code, then address root causes.
- Work with Sales, FDEs, Finance, and engineering teams across the company.
- Scope projects, plan migrations, and roll out changes without disrupting customers.
Prasības
- No formal experience, certifications, or degrees are required.
- Expertise in Python.
- Strong backend development experience.
- Experience with APIs, cloud infrastructure tools, storage solutions, data structures, and common software and system design patterns.
- Strong testing and security fundamentals.
- Care and attention to detail when changing live systems that handle money.
- Ability to quickly learn a large existing system and debug complex production issues.
- A track record of solving exceptionally difficult problems through past projects or GitHub contributions.
- Bonus: experience with payment processors or billing and usage-based pricing systems.
