Senior Healthcare Business Analyst, Operate

  • Help healthcare clients improve operational efficiency across data and analytics services.
  • Turn complex or unclear business needs into actionable delivery requirements.
  • Support junior colleagues and build effective client relationships.
  • Contribute to healthcare data warehousing and ETL work.
  • Prepare business and technical specifications.
  • Check data transformation logic for accuracy.
  • Coordinate UAT and release activities.
  • Use SQL and reporting tools to investigate data, resolve discrepancies, and answer stakeholder questions across time zones.
  • Gather payer and provider requirements and document them as business requirements, functional specifications, source-to-target mappings, and acceptance criteria.
  • Assess how schema, entity, and source-system changes affect the enterprise data warehouse, operational data store, extracts, and BI layer.
  • Use advanced SQL to profile source data, verify transformations, and measure the impact of defects across data layers.
  • Set reconciliation and business validation rules for landing, staging, and persistent layers, and investigate count and value mismatches with developers.
  • Plan UAT, design test scenarios, coordinate defect triage, and secure business sign-off through development, QA, UAT, and production.
  • Define reporting requirements, wireframes, and metrics for Tableau and Power BI dashboards, and check published reports against source data.
  • Lead requirements workshops and status reviews with US stakeholders across time zones, raising scope gaps, risks, and dependencies early.
  • Keep runbooks, data dictionaries, known issues, and release records traceable to support audit-ready delivery.

Reikalavimai

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least six years of experience as a healthcare domain business analyst using SQL.
  • English oral and written proficiency required.
  • Eight to ten years of experience in business analysis and data warehousing.
  • Experience with healthcare payer and provider analytics.
  • SQL data profiling across complex ETL flows.
  • Ability to turn unclear requests into testable specifications.
  • Experience leading UAT, defect triage, and release readiness.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops across time zones.
