Material Controller - Claremore, Oklahoma (Onsite)

Manage the movement, documentation, and inventory accuracy of materials across Valmont’s manufacturing operations. Operate forklifts and overhead cranes while supporting dependable production and shipping flow.

  • Move products between production areas to sustain an efficient workflow.
  • Receive, issue, and transport materials promptly and effectively.
  • Record material and product movements accurately and on schedule.
  • Keep computer inventory records, physical locations, and inventory organization accurate.
  • Review production plans and shipping orders to coordinate material handling and shipping needs.
  • Perform scheduled cycle counts in line with accounting requirements and maintain IFS accuracy.
  • Deliver products on schedule without errors.
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to load, unload, and transport materials and products.
  • Reassess priorities regularly to help prevent production delays.
  • Conduct daily TPM inspections of forklifts.
  • Handle additional responsibilities assigned by leaders or management.
  • Support departmental safety efforts and comply with Valmont safety policies and procedures.

Reikalavimai

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is desired.
  • Previous forklift and overhead crane experience.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with job-related software.
  • Availability for either the 4th shift, Friday through Sunday from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., or the 5th shift, Friday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons.
  • Ability to reach with the hands and arms and frequently use hands and fingers at a keyboard.
  • Ability to climb on and off heavy machinery.
  • Ability to bend or twist occasionally.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, pull, or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific visual capabilities, including near vision, distance vision, and focus adjustment; an associate degree in a manufacturing-related field is highly qualified or preferred.
