  • Build and release financial features for card authorization, transfers, onboarding, and payment processing.
  • Take part in daily stand-ups and the team’s regular working routines.
  • Meet weekly with a senior backend engineer and use ongoing feedback to develop your skills.
  • Read, write, and review production code in Go and Ruby.
  • Use AI coding assistants, including Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot.
  • Contribute to product conversations with engineering, product, and design colleagues.
  • Help shape the direction of the features you are assigned.
  • Work within a backend squad responsible for its product area.
  • Partner with product and design colleagues.
  • Contribute to technical design, team reviews, thoughtful task breakdown, Kaizen, and PDCA improvement practices.
