Senior Mobile Engineer, Grafana Ops (Germany Remote)
Build and maintain Grafana IRM mobile applications for incident response and observability. Develop Flutter features, integrate backend services, and take ownership of reliability within a remote team.

- Shape the product roadmap while aligning work with personal career goals
- Partner with the team to deliver features and refine them using results and feedback
- Lead projects from initial concept through customer-facing operations
- Contribute to open-source initiatives beyond the team’s immediate responsibilities
- Design, develop, operate, and maintain Grafana’s mobile application
- Take ownership of the application’s reliability, performance, and availability
- Join on-call rotations and remain accountable for the application in production
- Mentor colleagues and provide ongoing support to team members
- Contribute to design discussions and collaborate closely across the team
- Build knowledge of Grafana Cloud, its customers, and a large distributed-systems codebase

- Professional experience with at least one native mobile platform, Android or iOS
- Strong experience developing production Flutter applications, including state management, navigation, asynchronous programming, and maintainable architecture
- Experience delivering mobile features from discovery to release, including requirements clarification, solution exploration, development, testing, CI/CD, and publishing updates to the App Store and Google Play
- Experience connecting mobile applications to backend APIs and cloud services
- Ability to produce clean, maintainable, high-performance code
- Independent working style paired with strong communication skills
- Proactive, self-directed approach with a willingness to act
- Customer-oriented mindset
- Enthusiasm for creating intuitive products
- Ability to analyze, design, and build modular solutions, deliver MVPs, collect data and feedback, and iterate
- Additional experience with Grafana and Prometheus, microservices or distributed systems, operations or infrastructure as code, and open-source contributions is beneficial
