  • Independently manage a caseload of high-exposure cases and complex litigation.
  • Try cases to verdict or negotiate resolutions using litigation skills and techniques.
  • Conduct advanced legal research.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery materials, and other legal documents.
  • Independently attend court events, depositions, and other appointments.
  • Provide substantive case analysis and recommendations to insured clients and Claims partners.
  • Work with expert witnesses and consultants on case strategy, technical matters, and testimony.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external clients and business partners.
  • Provide training, seminars, and legal updates.
  • Mentor attorneys and legal support staff.
  • Launch special projects that support office goals and business needs.
  • Use technology, case management systems, and automation effectively.
  • Travel as needed to meet business requirements.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Талаптар

  • Juris Doctor or equivalent international law degree.
  • Graduate of an accredited law school.
  • At least seven years of insurance defense litigation experience as a practicing attorney.
  • At least seven years of experience as a practicing attorney.
  • Active license in good standing to practice law in each state where representation is required.
  • Demonstrated success litigating jury trials and achieving courtroom outcomes.
  • Strong technical knowledge in relevant practice areas.
  • Advanced oral and written advocacy skills.
  • A record of success with summary judgment motions and/or appeals.
  • In-depth knowledge of the bench, bar, local jurisdictional practices, and opposing counsel.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, influencing, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail, urgency, and responsiveness.
  • Ability to handle hearings, trials, dispositive motion arguments, depositions, and other court proceedings.
  • Ability to travel to required meetings.
  • A valid driver's license is required depending on location.
