Senior DevOps Engineer, Cloud Automation (India Remote)
Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for automating secure, reliable GCP platforms and enterprise cloud operations. The role focuses on Terraform, Python, CI/CD, GitOps, and resilient infrastructure.

- Design, deploy, and operate cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Own operations for critical cloud services and participate in on-call rotations.
- Create and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure as code.
- Build and manage Tekton Pipeline as Code CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and deploy Python automation tools and APIs.
- Support OpenShift application deployments and operate ArgoCD-based GitOps implementations.
- Administer GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Tasks, Batch, Cloud Scheduler, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Security Token Service.
- Implement IAM roles, policies, and related cloud security controls.
- Maintain high availability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience using SRE practices.
- Monitor platform performance and health with observability tools such as Dynatrace.
- Lead cloud patching, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance efforts.
- Optimize cloud costs and expand developer self-service capabilities.
- Help shape cloud architecture decisions and technology roadmaps.
- Work with engineering, security, and product teams to deliver secure, reliable, cost-effective cloud services.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation.
- At least 3 years in a senior technical or leadership position.
- Strong practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience administering Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Tasks, Pub/Sub, Cloud Scheduler, Batch, Cloud Storage, and IAM.
- Advanced hands-on knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code.
- Strong Python scripting and software development experience.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on OpenShift.
- Experience implementing GitOps with ArgoCD.
- Understanding of DevSecOps, cloud security, and compliance practices.
- Experience designing or implementing high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Preferred: experience with Red Hat Developer Hub.
- Preferred: knowledge of React-based portal development and customization.
- Preferred: experience with Golang.
- Preferred: experience leading cloud modernization initiatives.
- Preferred: experience with enterprise-scale cloud platforms and automation ecosystems.
