Sell JELD-WEN products and sales programs across the assigned territory
Cultivate customer relationships to support revenue growth
Manage the opportunity pipeline and provide regular updates on status and closing actions
Create sales plans and call schedules using available data and market opportunities
Assess competitors and develop strategies to position JELD-WEN effectively
Train and assist customer sales associates in selling JELD-WEN products and services
Explain product features and benefits to store associates, outside sales professionals, and end customers
Visit stores to resolve associate and management concerns, provide training, and maintain or identify display and fixturing issues
Travel as needed for sales, training, and service-management activities

Must reside in Washington state
Ability to read blueprints
Knowledge of window and door take-off procedures
Detailed understanding of Lowe’s and Home Depot inside and outside sales organizations
Window and door industry knowledge is preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, customer relationship management software, electronic pricing catalogs, electronic pricing tools such as Paradigm, expense-reporting software, and web browsers
Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Ability to use basic algebra and geometry
Comfort working with hand tools to maintain in-store displays and point-of-purchase materials
Willingness and ability to travel more than 50%
Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or at least five years of related sales experience and/or training, preferably in the window and door industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
