Advise on forming, operating, and governing private credit, private equity, venture capital, and evergreen funds domiciled in the US, Cayman, or Europe
Counsel business, operations, and investment teams on platform design, growth initiatives, and related activities
Represent the firm in negotiations with fund investors and strategic service providers
Oversee collaboration with external counsel and alternative providers
Track legal, regulatory, and market developments affecting the funds and business, and provide related advice
Lead or support projects that improve the scalability of the fund lifecycle support model
Partner with compliance colleagues to develop or update risk-based policies and controls
Deliver comprehensive legal support to Wellington Management’s expanding private capital business

Талаптар

At least eight years of legal practice experience at a national law firm or in-house
Experience with private fund formation, investment adviser regulation, and federal securities laws
Sound counseling judgment with the ability to balance legal risks and commercial priorities
Clear communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills, including the ability to explain complex issues to varied audiences
Strong organization and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Proven analytical and problem-solving ability, with initiative to identify risks, improve processes, and develop practical solutions
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global, team-based, cross-functional environment
Intellectual curiosity and a growth-oriented approach to learning new practice skills and building subject-matter expertise
Interest in developing the contributions of early-career professionals on the team
