  • Take ownership of end-to-end architecture spanning Cat Converge Suite, CIS, and connected Caterpillar systems
  • Architect enterprise integrations using APIs, events, data flows, cloud services, and established integration patterns
  • Define target-state architecture and build supporting technology roadmaps
  • Develop solutions that address resilience, security, scalability, observability, supportability, and operational readiness
  • Coordinate architecture decisions among product, engineering, integration, data, security, and operations teams
  • Provide architecture governance by assessing designs, weighing trade-offs, defining reusable patterns, and presenting recommendations to senior technical and business stakeholders

  • Proven experience architecting large-scale ERP, commerce, dealer, or enterprise integration environments
  • Experience designing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions and Azure-based architectures
  • Advanced knowledge of API, event-driven, asynchronous, and data integration patterns
  • Experience defining cloud architecture patterns and enterprise integration standards
  • Proven ability to design for high availability, disaster recovery, security, observability, performance, and scalability
  • Experience leading architecture across multiple products, engineering groups, and organizational boundaries
  • Ability to guide architecture decisions when requirements, technical limitations, and stakeholder priorities compete
  • Strong executive communication skills and the ability to explain technical considerations through business impact, risk, trade-offs, and recommendations
  • Knowledge of analytical thinking methods and tools
  • Knowledge of application design and architecture principles and practices
  • Knowledge of data architecture processes, techniques, and influencing factors
  • Knowledge of information technology architecture
  • Knowledge of platform architecture technologies and methods
