  • Build and migrate secure, highly available AWS and OCI environments across networking, identity, compute, storage, databases, and Kubernetes.
  • Architect compliant government enclaves that meet SCCA, DoD cloud security, and FedRAMP requirements.
  • Create and maintain infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, applications, and data workloads.
  • Build and operate Python pipelines that ingest, validate, transform, and publish data to cloud stores.
  • Use AI and LLM services such as Amazon Bedrock to automate operations and data tasks, including incident triage, runbook creation, and pipeline classification.
  • Implement security measures for IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and secrets management.
  • Conduct vulnerability and configuration scans, including ACAS, and drive findings through resolution.
  • Monitor and optimize performance, cost, and availability, resolving complex issues while minimizing downtime.
  • Keep technical designs, diagrams, asset inventories, SOPs, and knowledge base materials current.
  • Train and support users and colleagues.
  • Partner directly with customers and lead delivery from design through production support.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline plus 9 years of experience, or a master’s degree plus 7 years.
  • Security+ certification.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Interim Secret clearance before starting, with eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Practical AWS and/or OCI engineering experience across compute, storage, virtual networking, load balancers, managed databases, and IAM.
  • Strong infrastructure as code skills; Terraform is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation and data pipelines, plus Bash or PowerShell.
  • Experience building or operating batch, scheduled, or event driven data pipelines.
  • CI/CD experience with GitLab, Jenkins, or a comparable tool.
  • Working knowledge of containers and Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring and logging experience with tools such as CloudWatch, OCI Monitoring, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Applied experience with AI and LLM services for automation and data workflows, or demonstrated ability to apply them.
  • Sound understanding of cloud security practices.
  • Experience producing technical documentation.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills, including working with senior customers, collaborating across distributed teams, and managing competing priorities.
