Onsite Physician Practice Scheduling Coordinator – Allentown
Coordinate physician schedules, patient records, and inquiries for Lehigh Valley Health Network. Support administrative operations at a hospital-based neurology clinic in Allentown.

- Collaborate with patient navigators, clinicians, hospital personnel, referring physicians, and insurance carriers
- Deliver administrative and scheduling support across the practices
- Gather the information needed to keep provider schedules accurate and current
- Coordinate provider availability for office hours, inpatient and outpatient services, meetings, conferences, vacations, and other time off
- Track schedules throughout the day, make updates, and communicate changes to affected parties
- Anticipate patients’ expectations and educational needs
- Apply basic procedure requirements to answer routine patient questions or route inquiries appropriately
- Review scheduled-time utilization and identify conflicts
- Maintain patient charts and electronic health record details with relevant patient and insurance information
- Participate in contract, committee, and all-staff meetings
Талаптар
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Initiative and self-direction
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and on time
- Computer and word-processing proficiency
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Four years of healthcare experience preferred
- Familiarity with physician practice scheduling software preferred
- Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
- Frequent sitting and standing
- Frequent keyboard use
- Patient care providers may need to kneel, bend, squat, and perform CPR
