Management Liability Underwriting Intern - Chicago (Hybrid)
Paid part-time internship with Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions supporting the management liability underwriting team in Chicago. Contribute to underwriting assignments and special projects while building knowledge of corporate insurance.

- Build foundational knowledge of specialty insurance and underwriting practices
- Collaborate with management liability underwriting managers and other team members
- Expand understanding of corporate insurance functions and the specialty insurance market
- Support underwriting professionals with routine assignments and special projects
- Gradually take on work commonly performed by entry-level underwriters as capabilities develop

- Currently pursuing a degree focused on risk management, insurance, or business
- Insurance or financial analysis coursework is preferred
- Able to establish and maintain relationships with employees at all levels and broker clients
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, and Excel
- Able to perform effectively under pressure while managing competing project priorities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Highly attentive to detail with strong analytical ability
- Available to travel for business purposes
- Prior insurance internship experience is helpful but not required
