  • Lead, support, and develop a team through effective supervision and professional growth.
  • Coordinate accounting operations and contribute to monthly close activities across group companies.
  • Manage inventory, costing, foreign exchange rates, three-way matching, and other financial commitments.
  • Prepare and assess financial reporting for multiple divisions and subsidiaries.
  • Contribute to budgeting, cash management, taxation, and external audit activities.
  • Implement and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Support the ongoing development and integration of the ERP system as part of an upcoming project.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to identify challenges, assess practices, and develop solutions.
  • Maintain tax compliance by preparing and submitting required government filings.
  • Evaluate the application of sales taxes.
  • Complete other related responsibilities as required.

Талаптар

  • CPA designation with approximately 4–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in distribution, manufacturing, or an environment with substantial inventory management.
  • Previous team leadership experience, or readiness to assume increased management responsibility.
  • Strong accounting expertise with proficiency in costing, inventory, Excel, and ERP systems.
  • A meticulous, resourceful, collaborative, and curious approach, with an interest in investigating unexplained results.
  • Professional fluency in spoken and written French and English to support business activities beyond Quebec.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, Power BI, or U.S. tax regulations is an asset.
  • Experience with ABL financing is an asset.
