  • Own the protection, enhancement and evolution of Microsoft 365 content platforms, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, site architecture, metadata, term stores, retention labels, permissions and governance
  • Create and maintain governance practices that strengthen content quality, accuracy, consistency, security and information lifecycle management
  • Manage the lifecycle of SharePoint sites, site collections and OneDrive content, ensuring corporate information is retained and transferred correctly
  • Apply analytics and performance measures to identify patterns, enhance content management and inform data-led decisions
  • Guide the strategic development of enterprise content, advanced search and discovery, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation and natural language processing
  • Deliver specialist knowledge-management advice and resolve second-line support incidents within agreed service levels
  • Keep support knowledge articles, templates, standards and procedures current with Microsoft updates and future capability plans
  • Develop the maturity and capability of content communities through learning pathways, training, guidance, events and communications
  • Collaborate with technical teams, internal communications, learning specialists, suppliers and colleagues throughout the organisation
  • Promote safe working, continual improvement and rigorous compliance standards

  • Microsoft 365 SharePoint Administration certification
  • Extensive professional experience managing intranets, processes and content taxonomies
  • Expertise in SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft 365 Groups, and related security and compliance administration
  • Practical experience administering SharePoint with ShareGate
  • Experience using web, search, user-journey and OneDrive analytics to assess performance and direct improvements
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms and SharePoint Lists
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation abilities, with clear communication across all organisational levels
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholder expectations
  • Credibility and influencing ability to embed content applications into routine business operations
  • A learning-oriented approach and commitment to staying current with Microsoft 365, advanced search and discovery, and content-focused artificial intelligence
  • Desirable: Understanding of Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Syntex, Viva Engage, SharePoint and Copilot agents, including their connections across Microsoft 365
  • Desirable: Experience developing and using PowerShell scripts
  • Desirable: Experience overseeing contractors or delivery partners
  • Desirable: Strong stakeholder and client management capability
