Electrical Design Engineer
Design low-voltage distribution, UPS, and wiring systems for pharmaceutical and biotechnology facilities. Support engineering teams with technical documentation, reviews, and project delivery in Visp.

- Design electrical infrastructure for industrial and pharmaceutical facilities.
- Study low-voltage electrical distribution networks.
- Help size electrical installations and select equipment to meet project specifications.
- Design power supply and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.
- Define power circuits, protection systems, and interfaces with industrial equipment.
- Create wiring diagrams, power circuits, and electrical infrastructure documents.
- Assess interfaces with instrumentation, automation, and control systems.
- Evaluate technical, safety, and power continuity needs.
- Create and update electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Prepare cable lists, technical specifications, and related design documents.
- Document power distribution networks, electrical equipment, and UPS systems.
- Check that drawings and technical lists align with project specifications.
- Apply changes and comments from engineering reviews.
- Keep project execution documentation accurate and current.
- Work with instrumentation, automation, process, construction, and other engineering teams.
- Take part in design reviews and technical discussions with project stakeholders.
- Track technical feedback and help resolve engineering issues.
- Follow site standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Support project teams during construction and execution when needed.
Талаптар
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a comparable technical field.
- Around 4 to 20 years of industrial electrical engineering experience.
- Practical experience in detailed electrical design engineering.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
- Good understanding of low-voltage distribution networks, UPS systems, and electrical infrastructure.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, or process industries is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently on engineering studies and technical deliverables.
- Knowledge of Swiss electrical standards and safety requirements is an advantage.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- German language skills are an advantage.
- EPLAN experience is a strong advantage.
