Cloud Security Engineer at TRM Labs (United States Remote)
Join TRM Labs as a Cloud Security Engineer focused on protecting AI-powered intelligence platforms. Lead security across GCP infrastructure, IAM, vulnerability management, and cloud automation.

- Provide cybersecurity guidance and leadership across architecture, configuration management, and environment design
- Standardize security across environments through automation, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code
- Align engineering, product, and leadership stakeholders with security strategies
- Assess and communicate cloud vulnerabilities and mitigation options while balancing business agility with security
- Act as a cloud security subject matter expert by maintaining current knowledge of relevant technologies and practices
- Partner with business teams to understand requirements and develop secure solutions
- Advance security improvements across the GCP environment
- Administer GCP Identity and Access Management to enforce least privilege and role-based access control
- Support cloud-environment audits with external auditors and internal teams
- Conduct rapid threat assessments and prioritize vulnerability response according to business risk
- Embed security testing and reviews into product development and CI/CD pipelines
- Deliver just-in-time security training, real-time guidance, and code reviews for developers and engineers
- Improve security tools to enable rapid integration and secure product iteration

- Industry experience managing cloud security programs, IAM, and cloud-native security solutions such as firewalls
- Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure components, preferably Google Cloud Platform
- Ability to manage competing priorities and create urgency in a fast-moving environment
- Experience auditing or supporting audits of security controls in cloud environments
- Experience using infrastructure vulnerability testing tools
- Experience with cloud application platforms, including Heroku
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, including Terraform
- Ability to apply AI to accelerate workflows, structure and solve problems, improve output quality, and work more efficiently
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-intensity, high-ownership environment
- Availability and willingness to participate in on-call responsibilities
