China Performance Marketing Manager (Remote)

  • Turn China market insight into a channel roadmap with defined performance targets
  • Own China paid search, including account structure, keywords, landing pages, budgets, bidding, and reporting
  • Launch and optimize campaigns across Baidu, 360, Shenma, Toutiao/Bytedance, Tencent, and other China ad ecosystems
  • Work with design and content teams to create high-converting advertisements and landing pages
  • Set the China SEO strategy across topic clusters, landing-page plans, competitor gaps, and keyword priorities
  • Partner with the China Content Manager to deliver the SEO strategy and track results
  • Find technical and UX localization improvements that raise conversion rates and reduce funnel drop-off in China
  • Build and scale acquisition through Zhihu, WeChat, Bilibili, forums, communities, KOL/KOC partnerships, and developer communities
  • Track competitor positioning, pricing approaches, channel mix, and messaging in China
  • Create competitor-informed playbooks tailored to the product and brand
  • Track regulatory and market developments that affect proxy and scraping usage and marketing feasibility
  • Work with Product and Development to improve the China user journey, including payments, onboarding, documentation endpoints, and tooling expectations
  • Coordinate with Sales and Customer Success on ICP targeting, lead quality, and user objections

Талаптар

  • Thorough knowledge of China’s digital marketing ecosystem and native user-acquisition channels
  • Demonstrated success scaling performance marketing in China through paid search and/or other paid channels
  • At least three years of marketing experience in proxy, VPN, scraping, cybersecurity, developer tools, SaaS, or a closely related technology area
  • Ability to create data-driven growth plans, run experiments, and optimize the full conversion funnel
  • Strong analytical capability, including KPI definition, performance reporting, and results-based decision-making
  • Fluent Mandarin and strong written and verbal working proficiency in English
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced international environment
  • Experience with B2B SaaS and/or products for developers is desirable
  • Experience managing partnerships or affiliates in China is desirable
  • Understanding of Chinese internet policies and their effect on marketing and distribution is desirable
