  • Set the strategic direction for data and ontology architecture across the enterprise Palantir implementation.
  • Develop an ontology strategy that enables seamless data integration.
  • Define the operating model, architectural principles, and governance for cross-functional teams.
  • Choose architecture tools, shape designs, review key technical decisions, mentor architects, and work with senior stakeholders.
  • Build a technical culture centered on sound design, collaboration, continuous learning, speed, performance, and compliance.
  • Create training and mentorship programs and establish architecture communities of practice.
  • Design and launch the architecture operating model and governance framework.
  • Create an enterprise ontology that models organizational entities, relationships, and business concepts.
  • Set integration architecture across about 100 legacy systems, covering real-time and batch flows, master data management, and data quality.
  • Establish metadata strategy, governance standards, and data lineage tracking.
  • Define analytical and operational data models for financial analysis, supply chain optimization, engineering insights, and strategic planning.
  • Work with IT leadership to formalize enterprise architecture standards, data governance policies, and integration patterns.
  • Set naming conventions, data classification, security models, and compliance requirements, including ITAR.
  • Place architects in product teams to guide implementation and turn architectural direction into actionable requirements.
  • Partner with product development teams to validate approaches and address technical constraints.
  • Work with stakeholders across finance, operations, supply chain, and engineering.
  • Lead design reviews for complex integrations, ontology extensions, and architecture decisions that span teams.
  • Keep up with Palantir practices, emerging data architecture patterns, and industry benchmarks.
  • Advance architecture while managing schedules, budgets, and technical debt.

Талаптар

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 15 years of related experience, or a graduate degree and at least 13 years of related experience.
  • Without a degree, at least 19 years of related experience.
  • Experience building and growing engineering organizations, including hiring, training curricula, and career development frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience with Palantir or similar graph platforms; Palantir experience is preferred.
  • Ability to design ontologies, taxonomies, and data models that represent complex domain meaning and support multiple use cases.
  • Experience integrating more than 10 systems across varied platforms, such as ERP, PLM, databases, APIs, and legacy systems.
  • Strong communication skills, including explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and aligning strategies with business needs and technical constraints.
  • Experience in a highly regulated sector such as defense, financial services, utilities, or healthcare; familiarity with DoD security standards is a plus.
  • Background in formal ontology methods or semantic modeling frameworks.
  • Experience working with systems integrators and managing vendor relationships on large programs.
  • Direct experience with large-scale Palantir implementations; familiarity with the Palantir Ontology API, Foundry, and configuration frameworks.
  • Experience in one or more of these fields: supply chain, operations, financial systems, or defense and aerospace.
  • Experience with master data management, data quality frameworks, and enterprise-scale data governance.
