Underwriting Undergraduate Intern

Description
- Support daily underwriting operations and objectives
- Contribute to underwriting analysis and reporting
- Take part in business-area projects and programs
- Help plan and carry out projects and initiatives
- Research issues and prepare reports, recommendations, or alternative proposals
- Assess healthcare products, member populations, pricing strategies, financial results, and risk management practices
- Use data analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling to help develop recommendations
- Complete supervised, entry-level professional work
- Participate in related studies or enrichment programs
- Handle other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Be enrolled full-time or part-time in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university
- Be independently authorized to work in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and other internal or external contacts
- Follow the company’s code of business conduct and policies, HIPAA and privacy requirements, information security guidelines, applicable laws and regulations, and required training
