TOMRA Field Service Engineer – Agen, France

Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot TOMRA optical food-sorting equipment at customer sites. This home-based field role supports customers across Bordeaux, Agen, and southwestern France.

Description

  • Install and commission sorting equipment at customer sites
  • Carry out maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Train operators and maintenance personnel
  • Provide customers with technical support and expertise
  • Represent TOMRA as a trusted field partner
  • Prepare customer visits from a home office
  • Complete service reports and maintain technical documentation
  • Deliver remote technical support when required
  • Serve customers mainly across Bordeaux, Agen, and nearby regions
  • Provide occasional support to customers and colleagues elsewhere in France

Requirements

  • Technical qualification at BAC+2 level or equivalent in electrotechnics, industrial maintenance, automation, electronics, or a related field
  • Practical experience diagnosing electrical faults and troubleshooting electromechanical systems
  • Fluent French language skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English in technical and professional settings
  • Field service, customer-site maintenance, commissioning, installation, or travelling technical support experience is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment in customer-facing settings
  • Working knowledge of IT systems, networking fundamentals, and PC configuration
  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Valid driving licence
