Temporary Video Editor, Delish (Remote)

Create polished short-form and digital-first videos for Delish, Hearst’s food media brand. Edit content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, and other social platforms.

Description

  • Edit polished short-form and digital-first videos for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, and emerging social platforms
  • Select compelling moments from extensive raw footage and turn them into engaging, audience-focused stories
  • Partner with producers, editors, and creative colleagues to develop ideas and deliver work that reflects Delish’s voice and visual standards
  • Apply brand guidelines and creative techniques to strengthen storytelling and maintain a consistent, refined visual identity
  • Join pre-production discussions and contribute creative ideas from initial planning through final delivery
  • Keep post-production workflows, media assets, and storage systems organized
  • Edit primarily in Adobe Premiere and use Adobe Creative Suite tools to improve production quality
  • Manage several projects in a fast-moving environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining close attention to detail

Requirements

  • At least two years of hands-on post-production experience in broadcast, digital media, film, or a comparable setting
  • Proven ability to edit high-volume video content in fast-paced environments with strong storytelling judgment
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Familiarity with After Effects and Photoshop is preferred
  • Working knowledge of color correction and post-production practices
  • Understanding of production and post-production workflows, media management, and social platform specifications
  • Experience resolving Adobe Creative Suite and media storage issues is a plus
  • Strong awareness of social media trends, digital storytelling methods, and current editing styles
  • Excellent organization, collaboration, and time management skills, including the ability to handle competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently while contributing constructively to a collaborative creative team
