Description
- Research, write, edit, and publish authoritative technology stories.
- Track emerging trends, companies, founders, products, and technologies for potential coverage.
- Interview founders, investors, engineers, executives, and other technology leaders.
- Create original story concepts and distinctive editorial angles.
- Cover AI, startups, venture capital, software, fintech, deep tech, and other emerging technologies.
- Edit articles, interviews, opinion content, newsletters, and long-form features.
- Explain complex technical subjects in clear, accessible language.
- Follow breaking developments throughout the technology ecosystem.
- Develop working relationships with founders, investors, researchers, operators, and industry experts.
- Coordinate with social, video, design, and growth teams to distribute editorial work.
- Contribute to new editorial formats, newsletters, interviews, podcasts, and digital series.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in technology journalism, editorial, media, content, startups, or a related field.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
- Strong knowledge of technology and the startup ecosystem.
- Highly capable researcher and interviewer.
- Sound editorial judgment with close attention to detail.
- Ability to discover original perspectives and develop them into compelling stories.
- Comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle breaking news, analysis, interviews, and long-form assignments.
- Experience covering AI, startups, venture capital, or emerging technology is advantageous.
- Experience with newsletters, social media, podcasts, or video is advantageous.
