Technical Lead, On-Site Energy Control Systems
Lead the technical integration of Enova’s energy-management software with customer energy installations. Coordinate networks, industrial protocols, external specialists, and the development of scalable control-box solutions.
Description
- Prepare and oversee customer installations
- Integrate the Enova platform with local energy systems
- Select the appropriate technical solution for each customer environment
- Configure and assess networks, internet connections, firewalls, and routers
- Work with industrial communication protocols, including Modbus TCP
- Coordinate installers, IT administrators, and other external partners
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues
- Evaluate and enhance existing installations
- Standardize installation procedures and make them scalable
- Create and improve technical documentation
- Capture and share knowledge from previous installations
- Advance the company’s control box from prototype to scalable solution
- Collaborate with software developers and other technical colleagues
Requirements
- Higher professional education (HBO) level in a technical discipline
- Broad knowledge of software, networking, or industrial installations
- Strong analytical ability and technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to connect multiple technical disciplines
- Experience coordinating or technically directing external parties
- Ability to evaluate technical work and solutions
- Independent, practical, and accountable approach
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technologies
- Willingness to visit customers on site
- Fluent spoken and written Dutch is required
- Experience with software development or Linux
- Experience configuring networks and firewalls
- Experience with industrial automation
- Knowledge of electrical engineering
- Experience with Modbus TCP or comparable industrial protocols
- Experience with IoT systems, embedded systems, or edge devices
- Experience developing or industrializing technical prototypes
- Experience in the energy or software sector
