Description
- Review complex individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns
- Oversee tax engagements from initial planning through final delivery
- Advise clients on tax planning, consulting matters, and technical issues
- Investigate complex tax questions and formulate practical recommendations
- Develop and maintain trusted client relationships
- Lead client discussions and explain recommendations effectively
- Coach and develop tax professionals at varying experience levels
- Handle IRS and state tax examinations when required
- Track engagement budgets, billing activity, and project deadlines
- Support business development and initiatives that expand the practice
Requirements
- At least five years of recent tax experience in public accounting
- Experience reviewing complex returns and overseeing client engagements
- Background leading or mentoring tax staff
- An active CPA license is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Advanced technical tax knowledge
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Strong commitment to client service
