Description
- Create concepts for new, high-performance infrastructure environments
- Advise customers on the technical feasibility of IT infrastructure initiatives
- Design solution architectures for IT projects and processes
- Coordinate with specialist departments and Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM)
- Recommend technology solutions
- Guide infrastructure initiatives from planning through implementation
- Lead security assessments of architectures and IT solutions
- Advise customers on security, confidentiality, availability, and integrity
- Gather requirements
- Analyze potential use cases
- Evaluate technical feasibility
Requirements
- Degree or vocational training in an IT-related field
- Several years of experience as an IT architect or in a comparable role
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies
- Experience implementing services in heterogeneous infrastructure environments
- Some experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally private cloud or a comparable environment
- Ability to work independently and systematically
- Customer-focused approach
- Familiarity with BSI-compliant documentation and IT standards
- Fluent German
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or later
- Knowledge of Linux, especially SUSE Linux Enterprise and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- PowerShell scripting skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
- Experience with cloud technologies, ideally private cloud or AWS
- Knowledge of MS SQL, Oracle, and MariaDB/MySQL
- Knowledge of load balancers such as Radware Alteon
- Knowledge of middleware such as Apache, Tomcat, IIS, and JBoss
- Knowledge of virtualization with VMware and Hyper-V
- Knowledge of network components including TCP/IP, firewalls, and routers
- Experience with backup solutions and strategies
