Studio Lead Architect - Belfast (Hybrid)

Lead AtkinsRéalis’s architecture studio across Belfast, Aberdeen and Inverness, overseeing design, bids, project delivery and studio operations. Help expand the engineering and infrastructure consultancy’s regional architecture practice.

Description

  • Oversee daily studio operations, including team development, resource allocation and financial management
  • Direct project management for major opportunities in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Support business development, work winning and bids across local and regional markets
  • Strengthen the design culture and capabilities of multidisciplinary teams
  • Create concept designs with compelling narratives that support the firm’s reputation
  • Win local opportunities through strong bids and persuasive design proposals
  • Establish design leadership and culture across the Belfast, Aberdeen and Inverness offices
  • Deliver high-quality projects and client outcomes as Lead Consultant or Design Manager
  • Identify opportunities and support successful bids across local government, education, commercial and related sectors
  • Expand the architectural portfolio, client and stakeholder relationships, and team

Requirements

  • ARB-registered qualified architect
  • Proven experience serving commercial, education and local government clients in regional markets
  • Strong creative design skills combined with an understanding of technical delivery
  • Track record of preparing successful bids and tenders
  • Confidence engaging with clients and stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience as a lead coordinator delivering projects through all stages
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit
  • Experience managing projects within a BIM environment
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel and work across locations in response to project needs
  • Relevant security clearance may be required
  • Security vetting may require proof of UK residency for five years or longer
